The Daisy Dash 10K is a road race in aid of two charities. The Welsh Air Ambulance & a Cancer charity tbc. All proceeds will be donated.
We are holding a children's run which will be free. More details will follow. Dogs are very welcome, however they must be kept on their leads at all times.
Starting and finishing at Crickhowell Castle, the run will follow the road to Llanbedr. Skirting the village to eventually run past the Red Lion Pub - water awaits ( bring a cup) and jelly babies. The route continues to Llangenny before leaving the village via the infamous Druid's Alter climb. Once achieved you head back towards the Castle grounds to finish.
Tea & cake will be on sale at the finish - as this is a fundraiser please note that there will be no post-race refreshments
We intend to raise as much money as possible, so on this note we must point out that instead of medals we will be giving out a packet of Daisy seeds to plant - however the children will receive a small finishers medal.
First Male & Female finishers will receive a trophy made locally.
The route will be marked with Daisy signs.
The children's event will be organised by Julie - Crickhowell Running Club.

Kit - road shoes
We will have medics and marshals on the day. Photographer tbc. Teas & cake for sale etc
Come along and join in the fun and support this event which is aimed at supporting two local legends who are both facing huge challenges ahead.
